for school, work, applications, thinking, and everything in general.
haven't been studying as much i need to in order to do better on my verbal portion of the GRE, which i retake this thursday. i have notecards and i need to just go through them a bajillion times between now and then. i haven't even thought about the math or writing part because i haven't had the time, but now that it's here and i'm starting to get worried.
also thought about lately the businesses i could open. a friend of mine, who happened to be my fish camp co-chair four and a half years ago, chatted with me last week about the possibilities and gave me a really good idea: a bakery and bar in one. yes, sweet treats in pastry form and drink form. talk about getting my feet planted in two different industries at the same time! think about it, a bakery that makes gourmet specialty breads, cakes, and cupcakes during the day, and at night it would be an awesome date spot, girls night out spot (because who doesn't love drinks and sweets with the girls??), awesome alternative to late night pizza. it would be very chill with lowlights and mod decorations, very urban city look. and it would do well with college kids and adults. it's also easy to customize things like cupcakes so if i were to open multiple locations in different cities, or even with just the one, i could cater to the locals by incorporating high school mascots, college logos, pro sports teams, etc, into the designs. kinda like sprinkles cupcakes does already but on a smaller scale. anyway, i think it's a neat idea and i plan on looking into it a little bit after finals are over this semester. let me know what you think :)
